Following the prime ministers announcement tonight we are in an enforced “stay at home” 3 weeks. Our role in supplying medicines is critical to the wellbeing of the local communities so our sole function will be making sure that everyone can have access to medicines
Starting from tomorrow (Tues 24th), in line with Government guidance, patients who are self isolating can have their prescriptions delivered by the Hopeman pharmacy. Anyone in this category should contact the Pharmacy on 01343 830249 to arrange delivery.
**PRESCRIPTION DELIVERY SERVICE**
As from Tuesday the 24th of March there will be an option for patients to have their prescriptions delivered.
This service is for anyone who is VULNERABLE or SELF ISOLATING.
BURGHEAD, CUMMINGSTON AND HOPEMAN COMMUNITY COUNCILS HAVE OFFERED TO DELIVER ON OUR BEHALF TO THOSE IS GENUINE NEED.
You can arrange collection by calling:
BURGHEAD on 835370
HOPEMAN on 830249
A member of staff will then allocate a day when delivery will take place.
Please note, if you are looking to use this service you are giving those involved within the community councils permission to collect and deliver your prescription.
Please keep up to date with good advice around COVID-19. The treatment advice is now to take paracetamol rather then ibuprofen (although the concern about ibuprofen is not proven). If you have a new cough or a fever, please stay at home and do not come into the pharmacy at this challenging time.
